Leveraging expertise from original equipment manufacturers, operators, and system integrators, the company can address operator concerns more effectively than conventional system integrators, who often lack diverse cultural and vendor experience as well as innovative approaches. Working alongside AI developers and model creators, Bluelay provides scalable solutions that allow operating companies to control their cost-per-gigabyte with greater efficiency.

Solutions Through Membership

Bluelay, Inc. joined the Alliance to leverage its expertise in technology and address Cost-per-GB challenges confronting operators. Through its collaboration with the AI-RAN Alliance, the company seeks to fulfil industry requirements and develop innovative clinical and surgical solutions.

AI at the Edge

Mukheja foresees a future where necessity will drive innovation. He observes that brownfield operators are increasingly inching towards adopting DevSec model, to gain advanced automation, better observability, and strong CI/CD systems—essential for keeping complex networks stable as scalability, speed, and constant delivery become more important. He stresses the value of implementing AI at the network edge to make decision-making easier and help operators move toward DevOps, establishing expected levels of autonomy throughout the network.

Looking forward, he sees the biggest potential in AI-on-RAN technology. He recommends that the industry focus on developing Agentic AI services for RAN, which would bring applications closer to the network edge and improve operational efficiency. Bluelay, Inc. aims to prioritize work with the AI-on-RAN group, specifically targeting reductions in cost per gigabyte.
